Need help - Geobytes code cycling my site in IE 7 and 8 only

We have a site with your code in it.
Been there for years.
Works great.
Until recently.
The site reloads itself only in IE 8 and some IE 7.
Works fine in Firefox and Safari.
<script language="Javascript" src="http://gd.geobytes.com/Gd?after=-1" type="text/javascript">
If I rem that line out, it doesn't loop anymore.
Can someone please let me know what I need to do to fix this.
Thanks
jim

Ouch - sounds bad.
Would you be able to please send me a link to the site so that I can try to reproduce the problem? (Please PM me if you prefer not to publish the link.)

I have just tested the following code under IE 8.0.6001.18702 using the following code and it definitely does not loop for me.
Code: Select all
<strong><span class="style18" style="color:#FFFF00;" >Welcome to the<br />
         <script language="Javascript" src="http://gd.geobytes.com/gd?after=-1&variables=GeobytesRegion,GeobytesCity">
      </script>
      <script language="Javascript">
    document.write(sGeobytesCity+", "+sGeobytesRegion);
      </script>

Perhaps it is iterating with some other JavaScript code on your site.

In any case, please let me know if I can assist further.
